Pope Theodore Meets with Bishop of Botswana

Pope Theodoros II (Horeftakis) of Alexandria recently received Bishop Gennadios (Stantzios) at the Patriarchate to discuss the missionary efforts of the newly established Diocese of Gaborone and Botswana in southern Africa. Prior to his election to the cathedra of Gaborone the German-born Bishop Gennadios served as a clergyman in the Church of Greece, the Church of Constantinople in Argentina, and the Church of Alexandria in South Africa and Egypt.
