Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II (Gudushauri-Shiolashvili) of Mtskheta-Tbilisi and All Georgia has begun his pastoral visit to the United Kingdom. Among other things he will be meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. More here.
Update: I'm told that Patriarch Ilia consecrated the temple of St. George's Church this morning in London. St. George's is the first parish of the Georgian Orthodox Church in the British Isles. Its website can be found here.
