Constantinopolitan Orthodox Church Prepares Request for Lost Properties

Following the return of the property deed to the Buyukada Orphanage the Ecumenical Patriarchate has been preparing claims to twenty-three other properties, primarily churches and schools, whose deeds were arbitrarily taken from the Constantinopolitan Orthodox Church by the Turkish government in recent years.
