New Constantinopolitan Orthodox Holy Synod
Following the recent session of its fuller Holy Synod the Constantinopolitan Orthodox Church has announced that its lesser Holy Synod now consists of Archbishops Athanasios of Chalcedon and Gregorios of Thyateira and Metropolitans Germanos of Theodoroupolis, Germanos of Tranoupolis, Ambrose of Karpathos and Kassos, Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, John of Pergamum, Iakovos of the Princes' Islands, Theolyptos of Iconium, Gerasimos of San Francisco, Evgenios of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, and Ambrose of Seoul in addition, of course, to Patriarch Bartholomew (Arhontonis) of Constantinople.
