As part of the festal celebrations of the Lord's Transfiguration at Moscow's Church of Christ the Savior Patriarch Kirill (Gundyayev) of Moscow together with eight other hierarchs of the Russian 
Orthodox Church consecrated Archimandrite Innocent (Yakovlev) as Bishop of Nizhniy Tagil and Serov. Bishop Innocent is the first ruling bishop of the newly established Eparchy of Nizhniy Tagil in the region of the Ural Mountains. More (in Russian) here.
