Patriarch Maxim (Minkov) of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) of Volokolamsk of the Russian Orthodox Church have met together with other hierarchs of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church in Sofia, Bulgaria, to discuss relations between the two sister Orthodox Churches and recent developments in relations between all the Local Orthodox Churches.
