Patriarch Bartholomew Visits Kavala
Patriarch Bartholomew (Arhondonis) of Constantinople has begun his pastoral visit to Kavala, a city in Greek-occupied southeastern Macedonia that falls under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Metropolitans Chrysostomos of Myra and Jeremiah of Geneva are accompanying Patriarch Bartholomew on his visit to northern Greece, during which he will meet with metropolitans from Greek-occupied Macedonia and Greece proper as well as local officials.
