Metropolitan Christopher Returns to Czech Republic

After meeting with Archbishop Demetrios of New York of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and visiting St. Vladimir's Seminary in Crestwood, New York, to receive an honorary doctorate from the Seminary and the Order of St. Innocent from Metropolitan Jonah (Paffhausen) of Washington, Metropolitan Christopher (Pulec) of Prague of the Czechoslovak Orthodox Church left the United States to return to the Czech Republic. Interestingly enough, Metropolitan Christopher's visit to the Greek Orthodox archdiocesan headquarters in New York did not warrant any sort of press release or notice on the website of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, whereas the recent visit of the Greek foreign minister (perhaps the equivalent to the head of a Local Orthodox Church?) did.
