Serbian Orthodox in Midwest Call for Unified Diocese, New Metropolitan
The recent diocesan assembly of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Novo Grachanica and the Midwest has called on the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church to unify the diocese with the Metropolitanate of Libertyville and elect their diocesan bishop, Bishop Longin (Krco), as Metropolitan of Nova Grachanica and First Hierarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church of North America. Patriarch Irinej Begins Visit to the USA
Patriarch Irinej (Gavrilovic) of Pec
h has begun his visit to the Metropolitanate of Libertyville of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the USA. Since the death of Metropolitan Christopher (Kovacevich) of Libertyville, Patriarch Irinej has served as locum tenens of the metropolitanate. More here and here.

Patriarch Irinej to Visit the USA
Patriarch Irinej (Gavrilović) of Pech of the Serbian Orthodox Church will begin his visit to the USA on 16 February at Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Libertyville, Illinois, whose rector he is until the Metropolitanate of Libertyville receives a new metropolitan. More here.
