Russian Orthodox Patriarch, ROCOR Metropolitan Meet in Moscow
Patriarch Kirill (Gundyayev) of Moscow and Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad have met during the latter's recent visit to Moscow to discuss the unity of the Russian Orthodox Church and the upcoming fifth anniversary of the reconciliation of the Moscow Patriarchate and the Synod Abroad. Historic Concelebration in Paris
A historic concelebration has taken place between the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York, and the head of the Ecumenical Patriarchate's Russian Orthodox Exarchate of Western Europe, Archbishop Gabriel (de Vylder) of Comana. The concelebration,
which took place in Paris' Cathedral of St. Alexander of the Neva, was the first between a first hierarch of the ROCOR and a head of the Exarchate since the latter broke away from the ROCOR in 1927 to join the Moscow Patriarchate (and later the Constantinopolitan Orthodox Church). More here.

ROCOR Metropolitan Marks Nameday in NSW
As part of his ongoing pastoral visit to Australia Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) has marked his nameday at the diocesan Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Strathfield, New South Wales. Archbishop Gabriel (Chemodakov)

ROCOR Metropolitan Visits Holy Land
Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) has made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, during his time there meeting with Patriarch Theophilos III (Giannopoulos) of Jerusalem and concelebrating the services with the heads and clergy of both the patriarchal and synodal Russian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Missions in Jerusalem. Metropolitans Jonah (Paffhausen) of the American Orthodox Church (OCA) and Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) have concelebrated the festal services in honor of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in New York's Cathedral of St. Nicholas together with the Moscow Patriarchate's Archbishop Justinian (Ovchinnikov) of Narofominsk, the OCA's Bishop Tikhon (Mollard)
of Philadelphia, and the ROCOR's auxiliary Bishop Jerome (Shaw) of Manhattan to celebrate the nameday of Patriarch Kirill (Gundyayev) of Moscow. More pictures from the services can be found here.

After the services Metropolitan Jonah gave relics of Sts. Herman of Alaska and Alexis of Minneapolis to Metropolitan Hilarion, who in return gave Metropolitan Jonah relics of St. John of San Francisco. More (in Russian) here.

30th Anniversary of Ann Arbor Area Parish
Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad will be visiting St. Vladimir's Church in Dexter, Michigan, this July to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the parish's founding by Fr. Hierarchical Visit to Former OCA Parish in Brisbane
This past Lent Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York celebrated the festal services for the Annunciation at the Church of the Annunciation in Brisbane, Queensland. His visit to the parish was the first by a hierarch in 22 years and the metropolitan's first as its diocesan hierarch since the parish's transfer from the American Orthodox Church to the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia 2 years ago. Hermitage to be Founded in Scotland

Metropolitan Hilarion Recuperating
Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York and Sydney has undergonea successful operation on his knee and has begun physiotherapy. If I'm not mistaken he will remain in Australia for the duration of his recovery. More here.
ROCOR Metropolitan Sends Personal Representative to Cannes Parish
Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad is sending Protopriest Michael Boikov to France to serve as his representative at the stavropeghial Church of St. Michael in Cannes. It is unclear whether the appointment comes as a result of new issues in the often fractious life of the parish or not. More here.

The leaders of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America's Western Rites Vicariate met this past Wednesday with Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York, Bishop Jerome (Shaw) of Manhattan, and other clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad to discuss the state of the Antiochian and Russian Orthodox Churches Western Rites outreach in North America and means for the closer cooperation of the two jurisdictions in this outreach. Metropolitan Hilarion Undergoing Surgery Monday
This coming Monday, Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad will be undergoing knee replacement surgery in Australia. Please keep him in your prayers! It is hoped that Metropolitan Hilarion will be able to celebrate Pascha, but everything depends on the success of the surgery and the recovery process.

Metropolitan Christopher of Prague Begins US Visit
Metropolitan Christopher (Pulec) of Prague of the Czechoslovak Orthodox Church is beginning a visit to the American Orthodox Church (OCA) and the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad (ROCOR) today in New York. During the course of his visit to the United States Metropolitan Christopher will meet with Metropolitans Jonah (Paffhausen) of the OCA and Hilarion (Kapral) of New York of the ROCOR as well as Archbishop Demetrios (Trakatellis) of New York of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He will also serve a memorial for the ever memorable Metropolitan Laurus (Skurla) of the ROCOR at his tomb in Jordanville, New York. More here.

Metropolitan Hilarion Begins Visit to the USA
Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) of Volokolamsk has begun his visit to the United States. After being welcomed to the country by Archbishop Justinian (Ovchinnikov) of Narofominsk, representative of the Moscow Patriarchate to the American Orthodox Church (OCA), Vladyka Hilarion visited Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of New York at the headquarters of
the Synod Abroad of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia in New York. More on that here and here.
Following his time at the Synodal headquarters Metropolitan Hilarion continued on to St. Vladimir's Theological Seminary in Crestwood to deliver a lecture in memory of Fr. Alexander Schmemann. He was welcomed to the Seminary by Metropolitan Jonah (Paffhausen) of Washington and Bishop Melchisedek (Pleska) of Pittsburgh of the OCA. Among other present at the lecture was Bishop Kyrillos of Abydos, a professor at Athens University and auxiliary bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. More on that here.
