Ukrainian President Calls for Investigation of Lviv Incident
President Viktor F. Yanukovych of Ukraine has called for an investigation into an attack on yesterday's Victory Day celebrations by ultranationalists in the city of Lviv. More here and here.

Victory Day in New York Cathedral
At today's commemoration of Victory Day at New York's Cathedral of St. Nicholas the cathedral's rector, Archbishop Justinian (Ovchinnikov) of Narofominsk,
was joined by Metropolitans Jonah (Paffhausen) of the American Orthodox Church and Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, who joined him in congratulating the veterans and faithful present at the cathedral with the holiday. More (in Russian) here.

Archbishop Justinian, Bishop Tikhon Concelebrate in Philadelphia
This past weekend Bishop Tikhon (Mollard) of Philadelphia and Archbishop Justinian (Ovchinnikov) of Narofominsk, head of the patriarchal Russian Orthodox representation

Patriarch Cyril Concludes Visit to Eastern Ukraine
Patriarch Kirill (Gundyayev) of Moscow has completed his visit to eastern Ukraine. While in eastern Ukraine Patriarch Kirill concelebrated the Sunday services with Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan) of Kiev
and a number of other hierarchs and clergy of the Russian and Ukrainian Orthodox Churches, participated in the 90th birthday celebrations of Metropolitan Nikodim (Rusnak) of Kharkiv, and laid a wreath at Kharkiv's Memorial of Glory in honor of Victory Day and the soldiers killed during World War II.
