Catholicos Mar Thomas Paul II Visits Mumbai

During the course of the ongoing visit of Catholicos Moran Mar Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II of the independent Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church to Mumbai (formerly Bombay) he met with the Governor of Maharashtra, K. Sankaranarayanan, who praised the Malankara Orthodox for being first in philanthropy in India despite forming a small part of the country's total population. More here.
