Coptic Orthodox Holy Synod Issues Statement Supporting Egyptian Revolution

On the feast of the Lord's Presentation in the Temple Pope Shenouda III (al-Suriani) and the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church released a statement on the recent events in Egypt, "[praising] Egypt's honest youth" and saying that it believes "that Egypt should be a democratic civil country."
