OCA Seminary Releases Strategic Plan

The American Orthodox Church's St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary has released its 3-year strategic plan for the institutional, educational, and communal development of the historic seminary. More here.

Bangalore Metropolitan Visiting USA

Metropolitan Abraham Mar Seraphim of Bangalore of the independent Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church has begun a 3-week pastoral visit to the United States during which he will visit Malankara Orthodox parishes in metro Chicago (where he previously served as an assistant priest), the East Coast, and Texas and lead celebrations of the Dormition and Assumption of the Mother of God in Chicagoland. Metropolitan Mar Seraphim will also visit St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary in eastern Pennsylvania during his time in the United States. More here.

ROCOR Auxiliary Bishop Visits OCA Seminary

Bishop George (Schaefer) of Mayfield, auxiliary of the Diocese of New York of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, has visited St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, together with the rector of his cathedra, St. John the Baptist's Cathedral in nearby Mayfield. Fr. Zacharias of Essex to Speak at St. Tikhon's 2011 Commencement

Archimandrite Zacharias (Zacharou) of St. John the Baptist's Monastery in Tolleshunt Knights, Essex, will be the commencement speaker at St. Tikhon of Zadonsk's Theological Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, this year. More here.
