Moscow Church on Site of Napoleonic Burials to be Rebuilt

As part of the "Program 200" to build two hundred new parish churches in metropolitan Moscow the decision has been made to rebuild the historic Church of the Kazan' Icon in western Moscow. The church, originally situated outside of the city, was built on the site of the burial of the French soldiers who died in the area of Moscow during Napoleon's occupation of the city.
