Number of New Mosques Rises in Ukraine

The number of mosques in Ukraine has grown by 50% in the last 3 years, primarily in the southern Kherson Oblast. The country's Muslims remain divided between several national associations, the most prominent among them a Crimean Tatar association based in Simferopol' and a national spiritual directorate in Kiev.
